2011 Agency Updates

 

February 2011- Kyle Boggs, discusses how Northland Family Help Center is working with the Northern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (NACASA) and the Flagstaff Police Department to assist Flagstaff bars in making sure they have the tools they need to meaningfully address a few realities.

 

March 2011- Jennifer Rauhouse and other PSI staff members discuss moving beyond individual level bystander intervention strategies in sexual violence prevention.

 

April 2011-Carol Hensell, SVPEP Program Manager, discusses the 2011 Sexual Assault Awareness Month campaign, “It’s time … to get involved,” and examines ways everyone can speak up to prevent sexual violence.

 

July 2011 - Stephanie Arendt discusses how SACASA uses a Peer Education Model to provide a fun and effective approach to providing sexual violence prevention for youth. 

 

August 2011 - Manuel Abril interviews staff at Our Family Services who discuss the REEL Talk | Act Out film program's approach to presenting sexual violence prevention information.

 

October 2011 - Karen Moses shares the various tools used at ASU Wellness to reinforce messages and education on sexual violence.
